An upcoming A cornerstone of Al Khiran Mall, Al Khiran Sportsplex is set to introduce Kuwait’s largest multi-purpose indoor sports facility, complementing Al Khiran Mall with a vibrant destination that brings sports, retail and dining together under one roof. Developed over a plot area of 17,454 ㎡ north of the marina, the project further strengthens Al Khiran Mall’s position as The Region’s first hybrid outlet, sports and leisure distination.
Al Khiran Hybrid Outlet Mall services most of Kuwait, the Eastern Saudi provinces and a robust Saudi tourist market. Al Khiran serves as the main commercial center of the South of Kuwait and the primary attraction of the 6.4 million m² Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City with components that come together to enable a year-long calendar of unlimited events and activations in addition to the vast offering of unique retail and F&B all serving to make this destination the Heart of the South.
The main Sportsplex building is designed to provide more than 7,000 ㎡ of indoor space dedicated to sports activities on the mezzanine level. Bringing together dedicated courts for futsal, padel, pickleball and male and female gym, the facility creates a year-round active environment for residents and visitors, complemented by associated amenities and an external seating area overlooking the marina.
At ground level, the development introduces a lively mix of retail units with shop fronts directly accessible from outdoor pedestrian areas. The experience is further enhanced by a dedicated drive-through zone featuring eight F&B outlets and convenient parking facilities on site and in adjacent areas. Together, these components position Al Khiran Sportsplex as a comprehensive community destination where wellness, convenience and social connection come together.
