The Kuwait National Cinema Company (KNCC) is the leading entertainment company in Kuwait. It was established on October 5th, 1954 as the first cinema company in the entire region.

KNCC has been listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange as a shareholding company with assets valued at more than KD 36 million (US $122 Million).

Since 1997, an aggressive modernization program has been implemented targeting all theatres with a view of upgrading the existing infrastructure to deliver a superior client experience. This is being achieved by focusing on activities designed to raise standards of customer services as well as site renovation and implementation of new technology systems, equipments, seating, and concessions.

In November 2005, the Kuwait National Cinema Company launched its new and successful brand 'Cinescape'. The concept behind the brand, which was rolled out throughout all KNCC locations, is to deliver a superior customer viewing experience, which is on par with the best offering world-wide.
