Tamdeen Real Estate Company (KSE: TAM) announced today the construction of KD 7 million, Al Manshar Rotana Hotel in ‘Madinat Al Fahaheel’, Kuwait’s largest multi-phased development project to date currently being developed by the company and scheduled for completion by summer 2007.

An integral part of Tamdeen Real Estate’s 300,000 m2 ‘Madinat Al Fahaheel’ (Arabic for Al Fahaheel City), the luxury 5-star hotel will be one of southern Kuwait’s finest, featuring 200 luxurious suites, leisure, sports and health facilities, all day dining, roof-top swimming pool, and state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities.

The new Al Manshar Rotana Hotel will be part of the Al Manshar Complex and Towers and is located only walking distance from the breath-taking Al Fahaheel waterfront Al Kout Shopping Centre and Fahaheel’s beach. Standing 18 stories-high, guests of the hotel will have spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf and the city either from their rooms or from the hotel’s roof-top pool.

Tamdeen Real Estate’s Chairman and Managing Director Mohammad Al Marzouk said “we are delighted with the progress we are making in the ‘Madinat Al Fahaheel’ development, with the Al Manshar Rotana Hotel is one of its cornerstones. We are confident that the development of the Al Manshar Rotana Hotel will be a positive move for Fahaheel, providing great new leisure and dining facilities for local residents, as well as creating a high quality hotel that will attract both leisure and commercial business to the city.”

The Chairman and Managing Director added, “this development is key to our vision for Fahaheel and our ambitious scheme for the city. The ‘Madinat Al Fahaheel’ multi-phased project, which includes the Al Fahaheel waterfront project- Al Kout Shopping Center and its exclusive state-of-the-art marina; in addition to Al Manshar Towers and Complex’s residential buildings, office tower, shopping center, grand multi purpose hall, and parking lots, all together will bring the jobs and further investment that we need in Al Fahaheel.”

The hotel represents great confidence by Tamdeen Real Estate in Fahaheel’s future and will enhance the city’s still growing reputation as Southern Kuwait’s exciting leisure, cultural, and business center. The hotel is currently being built by Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Co. and is scheduled to open its doors to residents and visitors in Summer 2007. When completed, it will be operated and managed by Rotana Hotels.
